YearsProject EngineerThe Project Engineer will support the safe design and construction client Facility.
Associated work will include collaboration with engineering firms and vendors for successful completion of the project.
The Project Engineer will also be engaged in all categories of projects, including; Project Execution, Engineering, Procurement, Project Controls, Risk, Business and Commercial, Information Management, Health-Safety-Environment, Quality and Startup.
Essential Functions:
Ensure project is aligned with business unit objectives and completed safely within scope, schedule, and budget Assist with preparation and/or oversight of the development of project deliverables Liaise between the Project Manager and Engineering in the field Respond and coordinate RFIs Oversee document controls process.
Remain up to date on all recent engineering revisions Assist Project Controls Manager in preparation of project reports Review project cost estimates and direct modifications as appropriate and required Review equipment specification recommendations and review construction bid packages Ensure preservation plans are aligned with manufacturers recommendations and properly implemented Liaise between the project manager and commissioning and startup teams as well as the onsite vendors Collaborate with procurement staff throughout the project life cycle, from instructions to bid through tender and final award.
Required Education/Skills/
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
Project Engineering:
Candidate must have experience participating in projects in the high multi-million - lower multi-billion-dollar range Engineering:
Candidate shall have minimum 10 years of combined project management and/or construction experience with demonstrated experience in working across multiple engineering disciplines.
Quality:
Candidate should be familiar with Project Quality control techniques.
